About the job

As the Head of Digital Content, Studio and Production, you’ll build and manage our content production studio, which will have a specific emphasis on social content, with the goal of creating compelling and unexpected stories in a quickturn environment that drive awareness for leading brands.

 

Responsibilities over time:

• Create a staffing and business plan for a profitable digital content studio that grows

• Participate in new business opportunities and own social content ideation across business development efforts, in partnership with social, account and creative

teams

• Partner with Account, Social & Creative to develop social-first content that evolves our clients online presence to achieve goals

• Manage a team of content creators (shooters, editors, designers, copywriters) over multiple accounts

• Oversee and mentor the team in executing and creating content that resonates, and manage and oversee partnerships, freelancers, and other vendors

• On top of managing the team, we need you to also create as well as conceptualize, script, shoot, edit, and manage content nimbly and quickly within set deadlines

• Champion platform best practices and content formats especially across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn

• Generate creative concepts and provide input and ideas for client growth

• Lead projects through coordination and planning, assigning roles

 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience leading social on best-in-class brands. Experience in D2C, sports, health, photography, and lifestyle brands preferred

• Advanced professional camera knowledge preferred

• Advanced skills in Adobe products such as After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere

• Ability to be a team player and work in a fast-paced environment

• Proven record of taking ownership of projects from concept to completion

• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills• Proven track record of starting, innovating, and scaling brand channels, in particular rapid response to emerging channels such as TikTok

• Story-driven sensibility with analytically backed rigor

• High-performing manager with experience building and managing high-functioning teams

• Moves quickly and intentionally and carries oneself without ego

Salary:  Up to $175,000 (compensation is based on experience)

** This is a Hybrid position (2x/week) in NYC Office.
